During the fall of 2007, I was accepted into a poetry writing class at Brock University. It was a third year course, and I honestly expected to get nothing out of it. However, it turned out to be one of the most inspirational and intriguing three hours I’ve ever spent on Thursday nights. We were required to submit a poem each week over the course of ten weeks, and these poems would be revised by both the fellow students and the professor. At the end of the semester, we were to have revised the poems and re-submitted them. These ten poems are the outcome of those sessions…
